NY Times RSS aggregator

I remember using the metaphor for a personalised newspaper to describe RSS feed aggregators to academics when I used to work as a technologist at a University.

NY Times have done this with their new My NYTimes page http://my.nytimes.com.

By default it is populated by NY Times, BBC, Yahoo and Flickr feeds and it also has suggested feeds by the NY Times journalists.

This page enables users to create their own personalised newspaper by adding RSS feeds from the NYTimes site and also feeds from any other site – all neatly within the ad serving frameset for the NY Times….
